Video: LG G6 Vs. Huawei P10 Vs. Sony Xperia XZ Premium: MWC Highlights In Video Comparison

Objectively comparable, however, is the view under the hood: The Snapdragon 821 works on the LG G6. The SoC is no longer that fresh, but is still at the top and should have enough power reserves for the years to come. Huawei relies on its own HiSilicon chip manufacturer for the P10 and installs the Kirin 960 processor, which also promises power at the highest level.
Both chips are trumped by the powerful Snapdragon 835 in the Sony Xperia XZ Premium. The brand new processor technology also has a huge disadvantage: Since Samsung has secured the first batches of the latest Qualcomm processor, other manufacturers have to wait first. In the case of the new Sony flagship, this means that the Xperia XZ Premium will not be released until June - three months after the launch.
2: 1 for the dual camera

Both LG G6 and Huawei P10 have dual cameras with two camera lenses on board, but follow different concepts. The LG G6 combines two 13 MP cameras on the back, one of which is equipped with a 125-degree wide-angle lens and is said to achieve excellent results, especially for panoramic shots. The Huawei P10 continues the partnership with Leica that was already familiar from its predecessor: On the back, a monochrome and a color sensor are housed, which resolve with 20 MP and 12 MP. What is new is that the P10 now uses the monochrome sensor with 20 MP as the basis for creating the combined image - previously it was the other way around.

The Xperia XZ Premium, on the other hand, comes with a conventional camera that also has a few tricks in store. In addition to the five-axis stabilization, the motion-eye technology should be mentioned here, with which sharp images are to be taken even when the subject moves unexpectedly. The highlight of the 19 MP camera is the ability to shoot impressive slow motion shots at 960 frames per second (fps).
Conclusion
It is not easy to come to a final judgment. Both LG G6 as well as Huawei P10 and Sony Xperia XZ Premium have their advantages and disadvantages on paper - and a real conclusion can only be drawn after extensive testing of the devices anyway. What is clear, on the other hand, is that the biggest differentiator is increasingly the camera and the manufacturers want to differentiate themselves with different concepts. Excellent black-and-white shots should work best with the P10, thanks to the wide-angle lens all friends of the LG G6 can take a photo and those who would rather impress with slow-motion shots use the Xperia XZ Premium.
All opponents offer good smartphone technology - the buyer can look forward to it!
