Virginia In The Test: Why An Unusual Style Alone Is Not Enough

It's not that Virginia is a bad video game, because it's never a classic game anyway. The main problem of the interactive experience is that it is simply not a good film: the so-called jump cut is used too excessively and has already lost its actual function of interrupting continuity after only a few uses. Putting the player in the role of the cameraman does not work because it would like to interact with everything that does not work. And then there is the fact that not a single word is spoken and that is not exactly conducive to the already sluggish story.

The only highlights in Virginia are the beautiful soundtrack and the great graphic style. Otherwise, the game can never show its strengths as a supposed film. Unfortunately, the idea behind Virginia simply doesn't work.
