But the best is yet to come: Since the incident, I have a demon named Artanak living in my head. No joke. The guy mumbles something that we have to get to the bottom of the secret of a dark threat from the ruler Gudrun. I don't understand one half and I don't listen to the other half.

But since I don't want to stay on this spot forever, I do what he says. Maybe something will come out for me. Looking for a specialist in artifacts, we have to cross the island. Not so easy when you have to start from scratch and the entire island is divided into 7 sealed off zones.

My playground

I don't know who is worse: the Technomagier or the Biomancers. Both groups are strongly represented here and do not treat the locals very carefully. The techno magicians, as guards, have fun with their arbitrary raids and strict border barriers. If you don't have an expensive visa pill with you, you shouldn't get too close or somehow over the walls.

The Biomancers, on the other hand, are a sect of strange hybrids made up of scientists and priests. If they are in a good mood, they make useful potions and medicine for expensive prices. If not, then they are probably looking for guinea pigs again.

But I'm not entirely defenseless either. I still have my nimble hands and feet. It is unbelievable what some guards have to give away. Guns, money, key cards … In addition to the usual dealers, there are also businessmen in the villages for special needs. You just need to know which stairs they have their business under.

In general, there is a very friendly atmosphere among the prisoners and other residents away from the guard's ears. When someone needs help, they're not stingy when you give them help. Even if you have to recover materials from an industrial ruin that is contaminated with tech putrefaction. What is that? A good reason to quickly go far.

In addition, I have many workbenches and research stations at my disposal. Fascinating what you can build from the stuff you find here on the island. Better weapon, better armor, useful gadgets. But there is something else. In addition to my trickery, I can now slow down time and become invisible. And even more. It has to do with me, with this nectar and my purpose, says Artanak.
