You can only get the expansion as holder of the Season Pass of Dragon Ball Z Kakarot. It is not available individually, but as the first part of three extensions that will be released gradually.

If you own the Season Pass, you only have to get the DLC from the respective stores. An additional download is not necessary because all the required game files are already available in the main game.

You can then easily start the DLC via the main menu in the game. You can select it in the add-ons menu and then be teleported directly to Bills' planet, where the story starts.

On Bills' planets you will now be welcomed by Whis, who promises to increase your strength when you train with him. At the end of your training, you have the opportunity to acquire the new Super Saiyan God form, which is then available to you as a new transformation. Accordingly, you can only play this DLC with Son-Goku and Vegeta, for whom there are separate training missions.

At what level can I play the DLC? The expansion is separate from the main story of the game and can be entered or exited at any time via a portal. So you don't have to complete the main game yet. From character level 5 you can complete the first training missions with Whis and also earn the new holy water items. After use, these give you experience points for the next ascent. The DLC is therefore also an ideal method to quickly reach the maximum level of 250 for your characters.

In the end, a boss fight against the god of Bill's destruction awaits you as the highlight. A level of 250 is recommended for this and it represents the toughest challenge in the game to date.

In addition, you can get new soul badges in the DLC and unlock other skills in the talent tree. The second part of “A New Force Awakens” is expected to appear later in 2020. There is currently no exact date here.
