On the Samsung Galaxy Note 10 Plus, one of the two SIM slots is a so-called hybrid slot, in which you can also insert a microSD card instead of a second NanoSIM card to expand the memory. You will then have to choose between dual SIM capability or memory expansion.

Like its predecessor, the Galaxy Note 10 Plus will support microSD cards with up to 512 GB. For the top-of-the-range model with 512 GB of internal memory, this meant that you could carry up to 1 terabyte of data on your smartphone with you.

Galaxy Note 10: memory expansion possible?

The normal Galaxy Note 10 is only available in the variant with 256 GB internal memory. If that is not enough for you, you have to think about buying the Plus model. The Note 10 does not offer the option of expanding the memory with a microSD card.

However, all previous Galaxy Note smartphones support USB OTG, which means that at least an external memory such as a USB stick, an external hard drive or an adapter for SD cards can be connected. So you can back up your data using a file manager without a PC, cloud service or similar. However, these rather unwieldy solutions are not a real alternative to memory expansion using a microSD card.

How do you feel about Samsung's decision not to give the Note 10 a slot for a microSD card? Are 256 GB of internal memory enough anyway that you don't need an additional option to expand your memory? Write us your opinion in the comments.
