When the PlayStation 4 first came onto the market in 2013, it had a suggested retail price of 399.99 euros. The console is now available at the regular price of 249 euros. Its slimmed-down successor, the PS4 Slim with 500 GB, is already available for 229 euros. The slim version with 1 TB is available at the current price of 279 euros. The improved PS4 Pro, however, continues to cost 329 euros. The previous best prices from Black Friday and Cyber Moday 2019 at the turn of November / December were € 174.37 for the 500 GB version and € 195.99 for the 1 TB version. Since the PS4 Slim is in principle a phase-out model (the technically more powerful PS4 Pro is getting cheaper, the PS5 is expected for 2020), we currently do not recommend paying the normal price. There are always offers or bundles with which the effective price slips below 200 euros.

In mid-June 2019, the PlayStation 4 Slim was available in Marktkauf-Nord stores for a short time at the price of 199 instead of 299 euros. To illustrate you very much here the price development of the PS4 Slim (500 GB) since September 2018:

At the end of June you could also get the PlayStation Slim with 1TB at MediaMarkt for the best price of 199 euros 319 euros. The special thing about it was that it was the limited Days of Play edition. The price development of the PS4 Slim (1 TB) has also been available for visualization since September 2018:
