Summer is just around the corner and the perfect time to start barbecuing again. The temperatures are already inviting you to light the grill. If you don't have a grill, you could buy the ProfiCook gas grill from Lidl for only 249 euros, which will officially go on sale on May 28, 2020. This convinces with many features that otherwise only much more expensive gas grills have to offer. This includes four burners in the grill chamber made of double-walled stainless steel, which enable optimal heat distribution. On the right outside there is also a hotplate with a fifth burner that can be used to prepare delicious sauces. In contrast to other cheap barbecues, the ProfiCook has a cast iron grill that stores the heat better and leaves a nice pattern.

There is a thermometer in the lid of the ProfiCook gas grill to keep an eye on the temperature in the grill chamber. The burners can be individually controlled so that the correct temperature can be set for the food to be grilled. The shelf on the left is not only very practical, but can also be folded down. There is space under the grill for a gas bottle that can be hidden behind a double stainless steel door. A 5 kg gas bottle fits in there.

The reviews at Lidl but also at other retailers who sell this gas grill at a higher price are pretty good. The structure alone is often criticized because it takes a long time and the instructions seem relatively complicated. Otherwise, the buyers are very satisfied with the performance - especially with the price.
