The Society Season 2: When Will The Sequel Come To Netflix?

Season 2 of "The Society" has not yet been officially confirmed.

Netflix is increasingly opting for series to order more than one season before the start of a new “Netflix Original”. With “The Society”, however, no second season has been scheduled in advance. The second season of "The Society" has not yet been confirmed by Netflix. Meanwhile, the storyteller of the teenage society, Christopher Keyser, has commented on a potential sequel.

In an interview with the Digital Spy site, he explains that Netflix has just ordered 10 episodes and that the provider is waiting for a decision for new episodes. As is usual for the streaming portal, one strongly orientates oneself on the numbers for series when it comes to the decision for or against a sequel. Call figures and the number of viewers who watched the drama right through to the end play a role here.

If a positive picture emerges here, the chances for a second season of "The Society" are quite good. Netflix will probably wait a few more months before taking a stand.

At the current time one can only speculate when the sequel to Netflix could start. Assuming Netflix is producing a second season of "The Society", a launch date is likely in the next year. It usually takes about 1 year for new episodes to appear on the offer. So it could go on in May 2020. An earlier period is rather unlikely, since you could not produce in advance and therefore the time is too short for a subsequent extension. As soon as there is news, you will find it here.
