The second season of "Another Life" has not yet been confirmed

A few weeks after the launch of "Netflix Originals", there is still no official statement from Netflix about a possible second season of "Another Life". This is not surprising, since the fewest series receive a sequel before the release. Here, the streaming provider will probably wait a while before making a decision.

What are the chances of continuing?

If you use film and series databases like IMDb and rating aggregators like Rotten Tomatoes, the future for “Another Life” season 2 doesn't look bright. On IMDb, the sci-fi adventure reaches just 4.5 / 10 points with almost 6,000 reviews (as of July 29, 2019). The drama is also terrifyingly bad on Rotten Tomatoes (as of July 29, 2019): it reached 58 percent (686 reviews) among viewers, critics awarded an average of 7 percent (14 reviews).

Ultimately, Netflix will primarily focus on the number of hits on its own portal and then decide for or against a sequel. In the past, other series started with a bad rating and were nevertheless extended for another season. As soon as there is new information, you will find out more here.

When is the second season of "Another Life" on Netflix?

The start date for "Another Life" season 2 is not yet known.

Without an official announcement, there is currently no exact date for the continuation of the “original”. Typically, however, Netflix takes at least a year to produce new episodes for a story that wasn't set for multiple seasons before it started. If there are new episodes of "Another Life", the annual Netflix cycle comes into play again. An estimated start date can therefore be July 2020.
