Ring Fit Adventure: Popular Nintendo Switch Game Currently Available Again

A game sold particularly well for the Nintendo Switch during social distancing: "Ring Fit Adventure" helped many to keep moving in their own walls despite closed gyms and contact restrictions. The game bundle with the “fitness ring” was so popular that some of it was no longer available or was only sold at double the introductory price.

Update from July 24th, 2020:

At the time of this update (5:00 p.m.) Ring Fit Adventure is available again at MediaMarkt for 79.99 euros and can be ordered free of charge and without a long delivery time. The popular Nintendo Switch game also seems to be currently available in the markets. After ordering, you can pick it up the next day (example: Berlin, Hamburg, Cologne, Frankfurt). Many other specialist markets usually offer Ring Fit Adventure at a price of 10 euros more. At Amazon you pay the same price, but the waiting time is a good 1 to 2 months.

After the start of sales in October 2019, Ring Fit Adventure was available for around 70 euros. The price history on idealo.de shows that the game experienced an enormous price increase from April 2020 to up to 159 euros. The reason for this was the exploded demand during the corona-related contact restrictions and the resulting availability problems. These bottlenecks continued until May before the price dropped to a still high 89.99 euros. Currently, the price usually fluctuates between around 80 to 90 euros. With further restrictions, this could increase again.

Ring Fit Adventure: Who is it worth buying?

Ring Fit Adventure is ideal for all gamers and couch potatoes who can easily motivate themselves for a playful "workout" when the inner bastard cannot be overcome to go to the gym. We tried the game and were able to award a solid 8.5 out of 10 points. Note: Are you the owner of a Nintendo SwitchLite, we must disappoint you, however: Ring Fit Adventure is not with the cheap Lite version compatible. The purchase is only worthwhile for you if you have the standard version of the Nintendo Switch.
