The long-awaited, hotly debated new Pokémon game for the Nintendo Switch is here. Released on November 15th, Schwert & Schild once again puts us at the worst of all decisions: the choice of the starter Pokémon. You can find out in our quiz whether you have made the right decision or which one you should choose.

Fire, water, plants: we have chosen one of these types again since the first generation. For example, I have a heart for fire Pokémon because they just speak to me from the soul. Only in the seventh generation did I choose Bauz - this owl was just too cute.

The little starters have stolen our hearts again in Pokémon Sword & Shield. Whether the quirky oops, who would like to sprint a race against everyone, or the cheerful but somewhat clumsy chimpep - only with the shy Memmeon do not seem to warm up.
