Without naming the current Apple mobile phone by name, one only clearly speaks of the “Phone X”, Google attacks in an advertisement about the camera and the price of the competition. The pixel 3a, the message of the poster advertising, takes crystal-clear photos, while the iPhone can only take blurry pictures - even though the Google mobile phone costs only a fraction of the iPhone at 399 euros. Now Google's pixel cell phones are actually known for their excellent cameras and the Pixel 3a should not be an exception. Conversely, this does not mean that the camera in the iPhone XS (Max) is bad. You can see how good the buttons on the Apple phone really are here:

But more importantly, does a smartphone consist of only one camera? What about design and build quality, performance or future security? Here, the Pixel 3a with its stale optics, plastic housing and Snapdragon 670 processor can't even keep up with the iPhone XS. And whether the Pixel 3a will receive Android updates in five years' time can be doubted.

Pixel 3a: Google doesn't dare to attack the real competition

All of that is fine too, because the Pixel 3a actually only costs a fraction of the iPhone at 399 euros. The Pixel 3a is a classic mid-range phone, while Apple's iPhones traditionally serve the high-end sector. It is all the more incomprehensible that Google makes the comparison to the iPhone in its advertising campaign. The real opponent of the Pixel 3a is not an iPhone, but shows up in the Android middle class.

A Galaxy A50 for example, Nokia 8.1 or Xperia 10. These are the real competitors - and the Pixel 3a also cuts a first-class figure. Merely Google cannot shoot Samsung, HMD Global or Sony, because they are all Android partners and you would get a lot of trouble in the house. So you attack the one you don't need to fear sanctions for: Apple with the iPhone. Quite embarrassing, Google!
