Who is interested in technology?

Is it really unreasonable to spend so much money on a new iPhone just because you just fell in love with a color? Just as sensible or foolish to choose a new iPhone just because you think you really need the kind of performance you can find in Apple's new A13 chip.

Let's not kid ourselves, none of us really "need" the new iPhones. That's not the point anymore. Not only Apple wants to arouse desires, the entire industry has wanted to seduce us for years. The mass market can be reached less and less with “technology blah”, people are after all an emotional being. Colors are an expression of such sensitivities, they define our style, reveal who we are or maybe even want to be. They are an inseparable part of the fashion that defines us, whether we want it or not.
